Choose the sunset departure from May to October, when the light is best; the departure time moves with the sunset. The night departure is the cheapest way to see the lit bridges.
It is less suited to anyone who wants a live guide (the commentary is an app on your phone) or a seat outside whatever the weather: on busy or windy evenings some guests are seated in the indoor lounge.
